This is the infamous “I’m Not Really A Waitress” from OPI with white polka dots (Sally Hansen White Tip). Joanna used toothpicks to apply the dots. So cute. - Meg
Ps. we’re trying to play around the pictures, and this one was taken with Instagram. Fun.
WTFIUWMNP?

WTF is up with my nail polish? Last night I painted my nails with Wet N’Wild. Cheapo stuff, I know. I used Sally Hansen’s Double Duty base and top coat, two layers of polish. Let dry about an hour while watching DVR’d shows. Photo taken just after painting my nails, so still a little wet.
This morning I woke up to this:

Bubbles all over my nails! What the heck is that? - Joanna
Happy Thanksgiving. This nail art of a turkey is amazing! From a blog that features a year’s worth of nail art: 365 Days of Nail Art (http://blogs.nailsmag.com/365NailArt/)
Tried to do a french manicure with tape. It was terrible. Then I tried to fix it myself free hand. Also terrible. Which is why I ended up just painting my nails the same color as my sister. I want to try something else, but I don’t know what. Any suggestions? Colors are Sally Hansen White Tip and Essie Sugar Daddy (which I love) - Joanna
If you aren’t on this yet - go. Now. So much fun and a great place to find nail art photos and inspiration.
Grey’s in the aisle

Went to Rite Aid to buy some new nail polish. Wanted to get a grey color for winter. Tried on a couple in the store. I couldn’t decide which one to get. The top photo is the grey nail polish in the bottles. Below, I did one coat of each color on my nails. In the end, choose the Color Fever brand for it’s color tone and price point ($1.99 on sale!). The bottles and the colors are in the same order, left to right.
Full manicure photos to follow later, once I get around to actually painting my nails. - Meg

The plan
We are two sisters making a resolution to improve our nails and have fun with nail art throughout 2012.
We live in two different east coast cities, so to keep ourselves accountable we are creating this tumbler to post pictures and share our info. We used to always send each other photos on our phones, so why not upload them to the web to share them with other nail fans, too?
We will try to post the brand and nail color as often as we remember. Photos mostly taken by iPhone4 cameras.
Keeping the plan as simple as possible.
