Trying something new. I painted my thumb plum, and moved over to pale pink. I grabbed the bottle opener because I thought it showed the colors best. - meg

I tried layering pink over a coat of orange. It looks mostly pink with maybe a hint of orange undertone. Then sparkles on top. - Meg

It’s clear coat time! I have a nasty hangnail sitch on my thumb and my nails are turning yellow. Awesome - Meg
Steel-her Heart by Revlon. I did a sloppy job painting. I do love the picture though. Yeah Hipstamatic. You still got it going on.
No More Waitie Katie from Butter. I chopped my nails short too. Hopefully this will help with the breakage. - Meg
I don’t know if it’s the cuticle remover stuff or the polish remover or what. My nails have never been so dry and brittle. I just broke another one getting ready this morning. That’s not just a chip, but a huge chunk of my nail that went with it. - Meg

White polish that looks like glue. That’s what happened when I painted my nails with Revlon Powder Puff. I ended up covering it with Out the Door Nothern Lights, which made it sparkle a bit. I’m not sure I’ll be able to keep this on very long. Welp, you win some - you lose some. - Meg

The extra haul
Of course I didn’t need to go, but it was a lovely day out today. I went to Sally Beauty Supply to check out the nail stuff. It was fun to see all the nail art supplies and I picked up a few things. Only one I needed - maybe two if I really try hard to justify.
Out The Door is my favorite quick dry. The finish is great and works well for me. I’m impatient. The last bottle I had for years and it was getting gloppy. I had to toss it and get a new one. The orange sticks I wanted to use because I find the metal pushers can be a bit harsh sometimes. And those two purchases I can kinda get away with justifying. The other two, not at all.
Northern Lights is Out The Door with a cool sparkle when you shake it. Its awesome! I mean, just in the bottle so far, but I can’t wait to try it. And of course, I needed Naughty by Orly because… I’ll get back to you on that. - Meg
